Damsel of Good Hope

Returns from John Tharp's Good Hope plantation list two children with a mother called Damsel: Scotland (m) (b. 1822) and Biney (f) (b. 1825).

The 1817 slave register estimated Damsel's age as 13 (b. 1804) and described her as creole (born in Jamaica), but her mother's name was not provided.
