Harriet of Lansquinet

The 1817 slave register for John Tharp's Lansquinet estate lists three children whose mother was called Harriet: Ned Henry (b. 1801), Lovace (b. 1802) and Chance (f) (b. 1808).

Harriet's age was estimated as 48 (b. 1769), and she was described as creole (born in Jamaica).

This isn't the earliest record for Ned and Lovace, who were both included in a list of children born on the estate between 1795 and the 1st of June 1803 when the list was compiled. It is preserved among the Tharp family papers in Cambridgeshire County Archives.
